Our Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be to
encourage, promote, organize and publicize competitive swimming activities for members of MFSC in

Committee (WI LSC) rules. MFSC values in the highest regard the future
of all youth members of society, and will provide an environment for
willing and honest individuals and families to develop physically,
mentally, socially, and to further develop character and healthy life
style through swimming.
Objectives
To provide meaningful competitive experiences for swimmers at all
levels to help them develop values such as good sportsmanship, team
unity, responsibility, dedication and self-discipline.
To provide a competitive swimming program which will give all
members the opportunity to attain their goals in swimming, whether
they are at the local level or the international level.
Groups: The club will be generally divided into three main groups.
These three groups will be; Senior Team (Bronze Senior (BS), Silver
Senior (SS) & Gold Senior (GS)), Age Group (Bronze Age Group (BA),
Silver Age Group (SA) & Gold Age Group (GA)), and Developmental
Age Group (Silver Novice (SN) & Gold Novice (GN)). These groups
may be further subdivided according to the number of participants and
pool time. Group level descriptions can be found
here.
Why should you swim?
The
United States Swimming (USS) age group swimming program is America's
largest program of guided fitness activity for children. Age group
swimming builds a strong foundation for a lifetime of good health by
teaching healthy fitness habits. |
